Description
Have some fun with these Margarita jellies that pack a bit of a kick. The chilli naturally comes to the top of any mould, so beware of the initial hit!
Ingredients
Ghost Powder | 1g or more! |
Hartleys Lemon or Lime Jelly | 135g Pack |
Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila | 50ml |
Boiling Water | 285ml |
Caster Sugar | for dusting |
Instructions
Cut the jelly into small cubes and place in a jug. Add the boiling water until all of the cubes dissolve.
Add the Tequila, cold water and ghost to the jug. This is only half the recommended water for the jelly which keeps the flavour intense and helps the setting.
Allow to cool and then pour into a tray or moulds and put in the fridge to set. Allow at least 4 hours but preferably overnight. Optionally you can stir the jelly a little as it is setting to distribute the chilli
Remove from the moulds or cut into squares, and lightly dust with the sugar.
